5. What about the wildlife and habitats in this area?
We are aware of the impact this build may have on the land, animals and habitats in the area and therefore a full ecological survey has been conducted and we will be following advice from specialists in this field. The proposed development will result in a 10% biodiversity net gain, for full information and a full copy of the report please see the planning application.
6. Have you thought of the impact on drainage and risk of flooding to the high street.
We are aware that there might be changes to the current drainage and water management and therefore, prior to our planning application being submitted we have carried out a full flood and drainage assessment. The proposed development will not increase the risk of flooding anywhere on, or adjacent to the site. Please see the full application for further details.
7. Why are the yellow notifications not up on the site?
The Council will place these notices following the validation of the planning application, the Applicant is unable to do this on behalf of the Council.
8. What about the impact on the style and feel of the village?
We have put together a full Heritage Impact Report as part of our application. We believe a small development such as this will benefit the local village, with new residents supporting local groups and businesses, and ensuring the continued vitality of the area.
